Cumberland’s Campsite offers the perfect base for a wide variety of activities. The family run campsite and centre is the perfect base from which to walk, tour and discover the Western Highlands. The area is renowned for its hill walking with several Munros, Corbetts and Grahams all in close proximity.

The village of Fort Augustus and surrounding area offers a vast array of activities such as;

In addition there are a number of woodland trails and walks for those who want to explore the magnificent scenery.

For Nessie spotters a drive along Loch Ness is a must.  From Fort Augustus you can drive along the north side of the loch, stopping off at Urquhart Castle and the nearby Loch Ness Monster Exhibition in Drumnadrochit.  Then carry on to Inverness and return to Fort Augustus via the scenic route along the B862.
